Legal Awareness “The ability to make informed decisions about the essence of law, legal process and available legal resources and to effectively use and improve the legal system. Legal awareness and legal literacy lie at the base of any effort towards legal empowerment. The aim is to empower the public by making them aware of the legal provisions and procedures, rights and general matters related to law. Legal awareness promotes legal culture, increases people’s participation in the making of laws and progresses towards establishing the rule of law. Legal Aid Forum Trust conducts legal awareness workshops for activists and the community.
